naturally dyed Silk scarves

While studying abroad in Provence, France at the end of my second year at SCAD, I was able to use a variety of natural dyes to complete a collection of silk scarves. These dyes included indigo, murex, poppies, logwood, and rust. I later sold the scarves during an exhibition at the end of the 8-week program.

Also during this trip, I created a line of repeat patterns that were inspired by the poppies and dandelions of spring time and the tiles of old village houses.
